Motor Underwriter

Main Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite motor insurance risks in accordance with company guidelines and regulations

• Assess risk factors and determine appropriate coverage and pricing

• Review and analyze loss histories, claims data, and other relevant information to make informed underwriting decisions

• Support the sales teams and service providers of motor insurance

• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategies to attract new business and retain existing clients

• Manage renewal underwriting process and make recommendations for policy adjustments

• Keep up to date with developments and expertise on their field, improve delivery accordingly and ensure development, transfer, and retention of knowledge and information

• Conduct continuous training of traditional networks on new products and processes

• Prepare and manage providers’ contracts and external partners.

• Participate in projects, suggestion of terms and suggestion of underwriting rules

Candidate Job Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance Science, Statistics or related field

• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant work experience

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office

• Strong communication skills both in Greek and English

• Team player with excellent customer service skills

• Analytical & decision-making skills with ability to prioritize

• Ability to work with strict deadlines

• Certificate of Professional Knowledge of Insurance Broking
